Jukeboxes are back! If you're feeling like Glenn Miller and you're In the Mood to buy jukeboxes and jukebox oldies are your kind of music, you've come to the right place! As you can see by strolling through my website, I'm all about reliving the past. Retro and vintage style art is my passion and my bread and butter! My office and my home decor are styled after home furnishings found in the forties and fifties, so it only seemed right that I offer jukeboxes for sale from my website. Anyone that's into reliving the 1940s and 1950s like myself has to have one of these neato keen jukeboxes to compliment their vintage or retro decor. I'm sure many of your parents and grandparents can remember swingin' to the oldies while that wonderful jukebox cranked out their favorite song. The old coin-operated jukeboxes could be found just about anywhere. The tavern at the end of the block had one, the soda fountain around the corner had one, even the drugstore had one! Elvis could be heard crooning your favorite tune from one end of the block to the other. Now of course technology has finally caught up with the jukebox and while you can still find jukeboxes that play 45 rpm records or "vintage vinyl" new reproduction or "retro" jukeboxes will play your favorite CD's and iPod MP3 songs in digital format with a clarity and depth of sound that even Les Paul would have been proud of. Many companies manufactured the original jukeboxes including Seeburg, Wurlitzer, Rockola or "Rock-Ola" and Crosley and in fact many of these original designs can be found in the reproduction market.
Some fun Jukebox History:
The 1953 Seeburg M100C was used in the opening credits on the sitcom "Happy Days.
The 1946 Wurlitzer Model 1015 or more commonly referred to as the "1015 bubbler" is perhaps the most recognizable jukebox of all time. Between 1946 and 1947 56,000 models were sold!
In 1999 Advanced Technology Research, S.A. de C.V., a Mexican company invented the first digital jukebox the Arion Model Nyx, which stored music in digital format to a hard drive which was updated by satellite! This really brought old technology into a new era.
So sit back, relax and have a look at the many jukeboxes that I am proud to offer to you and relive those happy days that will always hold a special place in our hearts.
